About the Scholarship:
Established in 1994 with a gift from Dr. Les Thompson, Urologist. The Scholarship is awarded to enable a postgraduate student within the Department of Surgery to pursue a program of study leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy.
Eligibility for the L.C. Thompson Urological Scholarship:
- Applicants must be Higher-degree Research candidates in the field of Surgery pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy.
- A preference will be given to candidates researching the biology of renal cell carcinoma.
Selection Criteria:
- Academic achievement and experience in research and potential for scholastic success.
