Flinders University Thesis Write-Up Stipend Round 2 2025

Eligibility:

Awards will typically be granted only to individuals who:

• Are Australian citizens or hold permanent resident status;
• Are enrolled in a research higher degree at Flinders University, specifically in the third or fourth year (full-time equivalent) of a Doctorate by research, or in the second year (full-time equivalent) of a Master's degree by research with a 72-unit thesis requirement
• Can demonstrate they are prepared to begin writing their thesis.
• Have the full support of their principal supervisor, confirming they are ready to start writing their thesis. 

Application Process:

• Applications must be submitted online via the Flinders University Student System before the given deadline.
• Make sure to review the "How to Apply" page and verify that all your personal details are current in the Student System, as this information will be used for your assessment.
• Additionally, please fill out the HDR Completion Form and upload it with your application.

Value:

• The thesis write-up stipend will typically provide an amount equivalent to a Flinders University Research Scholarship for: six months of full-time study for PhD students, or three months of full-time study for Master's students.
