International Awards For Students at University of Trier 2025

The University of Trier offers international Scholarships to enable qualified international students to concentrate on their degrees and final dissertations. Any international student in need of financial support can apply, as long as their previously achieved grades are very good and they are in the final stage of their degree.

Eligibility Criteria for International Awards For Students at the University of Trier 2025:

• Applicants must identify as international students.
• Applicants must be enrolled in the university.
• Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
• Applicants must likely graduate within a maximum of two semesters.
• Applicants enrolled to acquire an academic certificate are not eligible.
• Applicants receiving a full stipend or scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service or similar organization are not eligible.

Application Process:

• Eligible candidates must submit an online application along with the following documents:
  • Printed and signed Application Form.
  • Certificate of enrolment at Trier University.
  • Evidence of completed modules/courses and exams.
  • Registration of the topic of the final dissertation or final examinations (optional).
  • Provisional timetable for the completion of the degree.
  • CV with a passport photo.
  • Evidence of current finances.
  • Reference from a professor.

Value of the Scholarship:

• Selected candidates are awarded the following benefits:
  • Up to EUR 350 monthly for students in Bachelor’s programs,
  • Up to EUR 400 monthly for students in Magister, Master’s, Diploma, or State Exam degree programs,
  • Up to EUR 450 monthly for PhD students.
