Stamps Scholarship
The Stamps Scholarship—the University of Oregon’s most prestigious and generous undergraduate scholarship—is awarded to exceptional incoming domestic first-year students in partnership with the Stamps Scholars Program. This highly competitive, merit-based scholarship is awarded to approximately 20 students each year—10 Oregon residents and 10 out-of-state students.

Eligibility criteria -

• Incoming domestic first-year student
• A minimum 3.85 cumulative high school grade point average on a 4.00 scale
• Demonstrated leadership, perseverance, scholarship, service, and innovation

  • Four short-answer essay questions

Application process -

• Apply for admission to the University of Oregon by November 1, as an early action applicant.
• Within days of apply for admission, find your UO student ID number in your Status Profile. You'll need this number to create an account to apply for UO scholarships. 
• Complete the Stamps Scholarship Application within the UO Scholarship Dashboard by November 12.
• Submit all required admission application materials to the Office of Admissions by November 12.
