Eligibility criteria for the Go Waitaha Canterbury Scholarship:
- Applicants must be Year 13 students or on a gap year.
- Applicants, in the year of application, must be attending a school and/or living outside the Greater Christchurch area.
- Applicants must have achieved merit at NCEA Level 2 or a corresponding level in an equivalent university entrance qualification.
- Applicants must be eligible to receive the StudyLink Student Allowance, and recipients must be in receipt of a Student Allowance.
Value of Go Waitaha Canterbury Scholarship:
The scholarship provides assistance with fees for accommodation at a hall of residence recognized by the University at a value of $15,000, and priority consideration for a place at the hall.
