Scholarship for Short Term Studies in Lithuania, 2024/2025

The government of the Republic of Lithuania is offering scholarships for short-term studies in Lithuania for students of higher education institutions in any field of study from eligible countries only.

Eligibility criteria for the Scholarship for Short-Term Studies in Lithuania, 2024-25:

• Applicants from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Canada, China, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Malaysia, Moldova, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Republic of South Africa, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, the USA, Vietnam countries can only apply for the scholarship.
• Applicants must have to receive official approval of acceptance from the chosen Lithuanian higher education institution.
• Applicants must have to be students of a higher education institution in the particular country mentioned.
• Applicants must have good knowledge of Lithuanian, English, or another language required to study the chosen study program (the minimum B2 level of study language according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is required).
• Applicants must demonstrate English Language Requirement.

Value of the Scholarship for Short-Term Studies in Lithuania, 2024-25:

• Candidates in the first and second study cycles who are authorized for short-term studies will get a monthly scholarship of 550 EUR. 
• Candidates of the third study cycle studies will receive a monthly scholarship of 1100 EUR.
