Vice-Chancellor Scholarships at Bangor University 2024

Vice-Chancellor Scholarships are provided by Bangor University students who have enrolled themselves in an undergraduate or postgraduate course at the university.

Eligibility criteria for Vice-Chancellor Scholarships:

For Under-Graduate:

• A strong academic background is defined as having completed or is expected to complete at least 50% of the subjects/courses with an A grade or equivalent, in addition to notable extracurricular activities. These activities can include leadership positions, fundraising efforts, volunteer and community service, athletic or artistic excellence, participation in national or international conferences as a representative of their region or country, high-caliber work placements, or demonstrated entrepreneurial abilities.
• Only undergraduate students who finish their whole three- or four-year degree on Bangor University's campus are eligible for the prize. Students having advanced standing into Years 2 or 3, as well as partner students articulating into Years 2 or 3, are not eligible.

For Post-Graduate:

• Outstanding Academic Record: attained or on track to get the qualification equivalent to a first-class bachelor's degree in the UK.
• Shown a dedication to aiding future generations and promoting sustainable development in your nation. 

Application Process:

Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful applicants of the Vice-Chancellor Scholarships will receive £10,000 from the university.
