Global Academic Excellence Scholarship (International) at University of Adelaide 2025

The extremely difficult University of Adelaide 2024 Global Academic Excellence 50% Scholarships are given to international students starting undergraduate and graduate programs who have previously shown academic distinction.

Eligibility for the Global Academic Excellence Scholarship:

• ATAR of 99.9 (or a similar number) is the minimum required for admission to an undergraduate (UG) program.
• Applicants seeking admission to undergraduate or graduate programs must have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.9 on a 7.0 scale, or an equivalent number.
• For admission to an undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) level award program, applicants must have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6.8 on a 7.0 scale for studies completed at the University of Adelaide, or with a comparable score for studies at an Australian university where studies are completed in Australia.
• The suitability of each applicant for a scholarship offer will then be evaluated by the Scholarships Committee.

Value of the scholarship:

Each Faculty will award only two scholarships of a 50% reduction of the tuition fee to the applicant in their faculty with the highest score above an ATAR of 98 or GPA of 6.8.

Application Process:

The University of Adelaide's award program determines a candidate's eligibility for the scholarship through a selection procedure at the time of application. This scholarship is awarded based on a selection procedure and academic merit. The achievement in the qualification that serves as the foundation for university admission determines the academic merit. To be eligible for consideration for the scholarship (unconditional), one must fulfill all requirements, including the academic component of admission to the University of Adelaide, and all additional requirements.
