UWA International Student Award 2025

Students from a handful of carefully selected countries can get an annual fee discount of $5000 under UWA's International Student Award. More international students will be able to pursue their academic and career goals at UWA with the help of the award, making up a more diverse student body.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be citizens from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, or Vietnam.
• Applicants have to apply to the University of Western Australia as international students on an Australian student visa.
• Applicants must enroll in a university-sponsored undergraduate or graduate course that qualifies and is listed in the UWA Handbook.
•  Applicants must be enrolled to study a full-time course.

Application process

• Eligible applicants to the university will be automatically considered for the scholarship and do not need to submit a separate application.
• Conditions are subject to change from time to time and may be amended without prior notice.
• Candidates are considered for an award based on the current approved conditions at the time of their application to the university.
