Eligibility

• The Herbert and Nell Richards Scholarship is a four-year full academic scholarship available to deserving, matriculated, full-time undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need.
• To be eligible, students must have a declared major within the College of Science at San Jose State University (SJSU).
• Applicants must also meet the criteria of being full-time students and must demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA or CA Dream Act.
• A cumulative SJSU GPA between 3.5 and 4.0 is also required for eligibility, with preference given to students who show exceptional academic performance and financial need.
