The Department of Welfare of SC/ST/OBC is in charge of overseeing the centrally supported Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students in Delhi, which is provided by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. With the support of this scholarship, students in Class 11 and beyond will be able to continue their education after high school, whether it be at a college or university. In addition to other perks, the chosen students will receive a maintenance allowance of up to INR 13,500.
Eligibility Criteria for Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students, Delhi:
- Students need to be a domicile of Delhi.
- Students should belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
- Students must be studying at post-matriculation/post-secondary (college/university) in a government-recognized institution.
- Students need to have an annual family income of not more than INR 2,50,000.
- Students should have secured an attendance of at least 75% in the previous year.
- Students should not be receiving any other centrally/state-funded scholarship.
Application Process:
Students need to submit an application form ONLINE only.
Documents:
- Aadhaar card
- Aadhaar-seeded bank account details of the student
- Certificate, diploma, degree, mark sheet for all previously passed examinations
- Caste certificate issued in the name of the students or their fathers by the competent authority of the Government of NCT of Delhi
- Original fee receipts for the current academic session
- Fee structure with the official letterhead of the concerned institute with stamp and signature of the head of the institute
- Income certificate issued by competent authority (SDM/Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), or Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi)
- Certificate from the institution confirming that the student is not receiving any other scholarship or stipend
