Eligibility Criteria of Meredith Morgan Eliassen Fellowship in Women Shaping California Communities at San Francisco State University:

• Applicants may come from any nationality.
• Applicants must be studying or conducting research in Art, California Studies, Creative Writing, Design, Ethnic Studies, Humanities, and Urban Studies.
• Applicants conducting research about communities in the State of California are given first consideration.
• Applicants must submit a brief letter of recommendation from a faculty member or librarian who would serve as the candidate's mentor.
• Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
