Eligibility

To be eligible for the Mangold Study Abroad Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Citizenship: Applicants must be an Australian citizen or a Permanent Resident of Australia.
• Residency: Applicants must be a current resident of the State of Victoria.
• Enrolment: Applicants must be enrolled in a degree-award course at a tertiary institute in Victoria and must remain enrolled at the time of going abroad.
• Academic Requirements: Students must have completed, or expect to complete, a minimum of three accredited semesters of university-level studies in a language other than English before traveling abroad.
• Program Acceptance: Applicants must apply through their home university or have already been nominated for a full-time exchange or study abroad program at an overseas university that is acceptable to the Mangold Trust.
• Language Focus: The study program must be delivered primarily in the chosen language, not English, and the language-related studies should comprise at least half of the course content.
