Eligibility for the NCUK Undergraduate Scholarship
- To be eligible for the NCUK Undergraduate Scholarship, you must be a new international student progressing from an NCUK Study Centre to an undergraduate degree program at the University of Sheffield, starting in September 2025.
- You must choose the University of Sheffield as your firm or insurance choice before the deadline of 4:00pm (UK time) on June 4, 2025.
- The scholarship is not available for Medicine (A100/A101) or Dentistry (A200) programs, and you must be self-funded with an overseas tuition fee status.
- The scholarship is also not available if you are a sponsored student or receiving funding from an external sponsor.
Application Process for the NCUK Undergraduate Scholarship
- No separate application is required for the NCUK Undergraduate Scholarship.
- If you meet the eligibility criteria, the scholarship will automatically be applied as a tuition fee discount once you are admitted to the University of Sheffield.
- To qualify, you need to ensure that the University of Sheffield is your firm or insurance choice by June 4, 2025.
- The scholarship will be awarded to you based on your academic success and progression through your degree program.
Benefits and Value of the NCUK Undergraduate Scholarship
- The NCUK Undergraduate Scholarship provides a substantial tuition fee discount.
- For courses in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Faculty of Social Sciences, the scholarship offers £2,000 per year, with a maximum of £6,000 for three-year programs or £8,000 for four-year programs.
- For courses in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Health, and Faculty of Science, the scholarship is £2,500 per year, with a maximum of £7,500 for three-year programs or £10,000 for four-year programs.
- The scholarship is renewable each year, provided you maintain a 60% average and achieve at least 120 credits in the previous academic year.
