Eligibility for Fulbright Hungary Postgraduate Student Scholarships for the academic year 2025-2026:
- Applicants should hold Hungarian citizenship (dual nationals of both America and Hungary are not eligible);
- The candidate must score highly on the TOEFL or IELTS exam in English;
- The candidate must take the GRE (except LL.M. candidates seeking master's degrees).
- The applicant must have graduated by July 31, 2024, at the latest, with a BA or BSc in the relevant field. Only the researcher and professor categories are open to applicants with a PhD; no other applicants may apply for a postgraduate student fellowship. The selected applicant will no longer be eligible for a student grant if they receive their Ph.D. before the program's start date.
- Both the higher age restriction and active student status are not prerequisites for applying.
