University of Auckland Senior Health Research Scholarship 2024-25

University of Auckland Senior Health Research Scholarship is offered for domestic and international students paying domestic fees, to support health professionals returning to the University to study for a doctorate in health-related areas.

Eligibility for University of Auckland Senior Health Research Scholarship:

• Applicants may come from any nationality.
• Applicants must be health professionals.
• Applicants must enroll in a doctorate program in health-related areas.
• Applicants must exhibit an excellent academic track record.
• The research proposal submitted by the applicant must exhibit a superior level of quality.

Application Process:

• Candidates cannot directly apply for the scholarship.
• The scholarship is bestowed upon the recipient by the University of Auckland Council, following the endorsement of the Dean of Graduate Studies. 
• This endorsement is, in turn, based on the recommendation of a Selection Committee, which is appointed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, in consultation with the Director of the Liggins Institute.

Value of the Scholarship:

The University of Auckland Senior Health Research Scholarship provides a reward of up to NZD 40,590 per annum plus compulsory fees to the students.
