China Scholarships Council (CSC) Joint Research Scholarships at University of York 2025-26

The China Scholarships Council (CSC) joint research scholarships are open to Chinese nationals intending to begin a PhD in the 2025 academic year at the University of York. They will be awarded based on academic merit and CSC priorities.

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship:

• Applicant must be a citizen and permanent resident of the People's Republic of China at the time of application.
• Applicant must hold an unconditional offer for a full-time Ph.D. degree program at the University of York commencing in Autumn 2025.
• Applicant must fulfill any English language requirements of the offer by the deadline.
• Applicant must satisfy the eligibility and selection criteria set out by the CSC as mentioned on its website.

Application Process:

• All interested candidates must first apply to the university for PhD admission.
• The admitted candidates must then be nominated by the respective department.
• The nominated candidates must apply to the CSC by the respective deadline.
