The research objectives are to create effective and precise computational and experimental methods for describing hybrid, multipurpose 3D-printed fiber-polymer composites and investigate new approaches for improving the fracture toughness and damage tolerance characteristics in order to create next-generation 3D-printed composites with exceptional strength and durability.
Eligibility criteria:
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Have a Master by Research degree; or
- Have Master by Coursework degree with a significant research component graded as high distinction or equivalent; or
- Have a Bachelor Honours degree achieving first class honours in Engineering, Science, or another suitable field.
