The Tribal Development Department of the Government of Maharashtra launched the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme Government of India, Maharashtra 2024/25 to offer financial aid to students from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) population in the state. The award encourages ST students from low-income families to continue their education beyond Class 10. In addition to other incentives, the chosen individuals will get a maintenance allowance.
Eligibility Criteria for Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme Government of India, Maharashtra 2024/25:
- Students need to belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) Category of Maharashtra.
- Students should have passed Class 10.
- Students must have an annual family income of not more than INR 2,50,000
- Students should not have a gap of more than 2 years in their formal education.
