Eligibility

• The scholarship for the Yorkshire Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership (YBDTP) PhD project is open to both international and UK (home) students.
• Applicants must hold, or be expected to hold, at least an upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent) in biological, chemical, physical science, or mathematics fields.
• This interdisciplinary programme welcomes students with various academic backgrounds, particularly those with an interest in applying their skills to biological questions.
• International candidates should ensure they meet their country's specific entry requirements.
• There are also limited bursaries available for outstanding international applicants.

Application Process

• To apply for the Yorkshire Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership PhD project, interested candidates must submit an Expression of Interest form.
• The deadline for applications is 14 March 2025.
• Applicants can apply for up to three projects, including those from different universities within the partnership.
