- The scholarship for the Yorkshire Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership (YBDTP) PhD project is open to both international and UK (home) students.
- Applicants must hold, or be expected to hold, at least an upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent) in biological, chemical, physical science, or mathematics fields.
- This interdisciplinary programme welcomes students with various academic backgrounds, particularly those with an interest in applying their skills to biological questions.

- There are also limited bursaries available for outstanding international applicants.
