Eligibility

• The Yorkshire Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership is open to both international (including EU) and UK (home) applicants.
• Candidates must hold or expect to gain an upper second-class honours degree or its equivalent.
• Applicants with backgrounds in biological, chemical, physical sciences, or mathematics are encouraged to apply, especially those interested in exploring biological questions.
• International students should ensure they meet the specific entry requirements for their country.

Application Process

• To apply for the Yorkshire Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership scholarship, applicants must submit an Expression of Interest form by 5pm, Friday, 14th March 2025.
• Candidates can apply for up to three different projects across multiple participating universities.
• It is important to review the questions in the form beforehand.
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews in February 2025, and final decisions will be communicated shortly after the interviews.

• The Yorkshire Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership offers a fully funded four-year PhD program, covering tuition fees, research costs, and a tax-free stipend of £19,237 per year (for 2024/25).
