  The Aga Khan Foundation’s International Scholarship Programme (AKF ISP) 2025-26 is currently open and is accepting applications. But please keep in mind that this scholarship only provides partial funding in the form of Half Loan and Half Grant and this is the eligibility criteria:
  - Applicants must come from the selected list of nationalities: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Kenya, Kyrgyz Republic, Madagascar, Mozambique, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, and Uganda
  - Applicants from Canada, France, Portugal, and the USA must originally be from the above countries.
  - Applicants must enroll in a reputable postgraduate institution.
  - Applicants must be starting the first year of the program.
  - Applicants must exhibit excellent academic standing.
  - Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training or professional experience.
  - Applicants must demonstrate genuine financial need.
  - Applicants must demonstrate a meticulous funding plan that covers all years of study.
  - Applicants must display strong leadership potential, professional experience, extracurricular or entrepreneurial achievements, and volunteer contributions.
  We also want you to note that a scholarship in most cases cannot cover the complete costs of education, so it is always a good idea to look at alternative options such as education loans to make sure you have the complete funding required by you to complete your degree. Eligibility Criteria of the Aga Khan Foundation’s International Scholarship Programme (AKF ISP) 2026:

Applicants must:

Have excellent academic records.
Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrate genuine financial need.
Show a thoughtful, reliable multi-source funding plan covering all years of study.
Be admitted to a reputable postgraduate institution (Master’s/PhD).
Be starting the first year of their postgraduate programme when receiving the award.
Have strong leadership potential, professional experience, extracurricular/entrepreneurial achievements, or volunteer contributions.
Preference is given to young professionals under 30 years of age.

Value of the Aga Khan Foundation’s International Scholarship Programme (AKF ISP) 2026:

The successful candidates are granted the award as Half Loan and Half Grant.
The award covers tuition expenses and student living expenses.
