Old A’s Summer Scholar Prize at University of Auckland 2025

The main purpose of the Old A’s Summer Scholar Prize at the University of Auckland 2025 is to recognize and reward excellence from a Summer Research Scholar in the Faculty of Education and Social Work who aspires to a career in teaching.

Eligibility Criteria for Old A’s Summer Scholar Prize at University of Auckland 2025:

Applicants must:

• Be enrolled in the SUMRESCH 301 Summer Research Scholarship in the Faculty of Education and Social Work.
• Have worked on a research project in Education that has been deemed by the Selection Committee to be of the highest quality.
• The research project must have been completed between November and March each year.

Selection Criteria for Old A’s Summer Scholar Prize at the University of Auckland 2025:

• Research excellence
• Research contribution
• Written communication skills
• Personal and professional development, as assessed by the final report and the supervisor's report.

Value of Old A’s Summer Scholar Prize at University of Auckland 2025:

One Prize will be awarded annually and will be of the value of $1,000.

Application Process:

The following must be provided for consideration:

• A copy of the student’s final report.
• A statement from the project supervisor.
