Latin American Academic Achievement Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington 2024

The Latin American Academic Achievement Scholarship is designed to encourage high-achieving Latin American international students to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate degrees at Victoria University of Wellington. The scholarship offers a financial award of NZD 5,000 to support students in their studies.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be enrolling in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Victoria University of Wellington.
• Applicants must be new students who have not previously been enrolled at Victoria University of Wellington.
• Applicants must have met the English Language Requirements for study at Victoria University of Wellington.

Value of the Scholarship:

• The scholarship provides a financial award of NZD 5,000.
• The tenure of the scholarship is up to three years, conditional on maintaining a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 6 (B+) or above each year of their studies.

Application Process:

• Applicants must submit a completed online application along with any required supporting documentation by 4:30 pm on the closing date.
• Applications will normally open one month before the closing date.
• A personal statement highlighting involvement in extracurricular activities, interest in internationalization, motivations, and future goals (maximum 500 words) is required.
