IOP Publishing Scholarship at Oxford Brookes University 2025

Overview

• IOP Publishing is offering a £5,000 fee-waiver bursary for full-time or part-time students at the Oxford International Centre for Publishing on the MA Publishing or MA Publishing Media courses.
• In addition to the financial support, the selected student will be guaranteed a work placement of at least three weeks at IOP Publishing’s offices in Bristol.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the IOP Publishing Scholarship, applicants must:

• Have already accepted a conditional or unconditional offer for the MA Publishing or MA Publishing Media course starting in September 2024 or January 2025.
• Submit a CV and a 500-word rationale explaining their interest in academic publishing and why they are applying for the scholarship.
• Provide details of any other funding sources they are applying for and how they will cover the remaining fees and living costs.
• Be aware that the scholarship does not cover maintenance costs, and students who are awarded other tuition fee funding are not eligible.

Application Process

• To apply, applicants must complete the Google form, selecting the scholarship they wish to apply for, and provide the required details.
• They must also submit their CV to tde-pgscholarships@brookes.ac.uk after completing the Google form.
• The application must include a 500-word rationale explaining their reasons for applying.
