The Emma Waterhouse Award for Women in Natural Science at the University of Auckland 2025 aims to encourage and support women students studying or researching the geography and ecology of Aotearoa New Zealand, including its marine and terrestrial environments and the sub-Antarctic or Antarctica.
Eligibility Criteria for the Emma Waterhouse Award for Women in Natural Science at the University of Auckland 2025:
Applicants must:
- Be a woman student.
- Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
- Be enrolled, or enrolling, full-time or part-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in the Faculty of Science.
- Be undertaking study or research in the natural sciences related to the geography and ecology of Aotearoa New Zealand, including its marine and terrestrial environments, or the sub-Antarctic or Antarctica.
Value of Emma Waterhouse Award for Women in Natural Science at University of Auckland 2025:
One Award will be made for a period of up to three years and will be of the value of up to $5,000 per annum.
