Alan C Rose Memorial Trust Scholarship at University of Melbourne 2025

This award, worth up to $10,000, funds a musical project which may be an individual or group project, and should provide some benefit to the Australian community, displaying innovation and community impact.

Eligibility Criteria for Alan C Rose Memorial Trust Scholarship:

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

• apply as an individual student (international or domestic) or on behalf of an Australian organisation
• propose a project which benefits the Australian community in some form
• be enrolled in or graduated within two years of the application closing date from the Bachelor of Music (Jazz and Improvisation or Interactive Composition); or
• be enrolled in the Master of Music (Performance Teaching) or Master of Music (Music Therapy)

Selection Criteria:

The scholarship is offered to the student(s) or group(s) ranked highest by the selection panel based on their application and interview.

Application Process:

Students must submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

A single payment of approximately $3,000 to $5,000. A total of $10.000 is generally awarded to two or three recipients.
