Dr. Cathy Buell Scholarship for PE Credential Candidates at College of Health and Human Sciences 2025

Eligibility

• To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be current candidates in the Single Subject Credential Program for Physical Education, with a focus on teaching Physical Education at the secondary level.
• Applicants must be in good standing and entering the final semester of their student teaching in Physical Education.
• Priority consideration will be given to those who have completed subject matter preparation through the Department of Kinesiology at San José State University (SJSU).
• Additionally, applicants must be members of the California Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (CAHPERD) to qualify for this scholarship.
