The Leahurst Nurses' Foundation Bachelor of Midwifery Scholarship
The Leahurst Nurses’ Foundation Scholarship has been established to provide financial support to students experiencing financial hardship, as a result of undertaking their final clinical placement in their undergraduate Bachelor of Midwifery degree.
Eligibility for The Leahurst Nurses' Foundation Bachelor of Midwifery Scholarship
- Be enrolled or enrolling in their final clinical placement of an undergraduate Bachelor of Midwifery degree at Flinders University.
- Be able to demonstrate financial hardship and/or anticipated financial disadvantage as a result of undertaking the placement.
- Must have an excellect academic merit or a GPA of 4.5 or above.
- Not be in receipt of a similar scholarship for the same placement.
Value of The Leahurst Nurses' Foundation Bachelor of Midwifery Scholarship
The scholarship is valued at $2000 paid within two weeks of commencement of the final clinical placement.
How to apply for The Leahurst Nurses' Foundation Bachelor of Midwifery Scholarship?
- Applications should be submitted online through the Flinders University Student System
- Applicants who are in receipt of a Commonwealth Income Support payment will need to demonstrate evidence of the same
- Applicants who are not in receipt of a Commonwealth Income Support payment as described above will need to complete the Financial Hardship Form online.
Note-The scholarship is open to all students undertaking their final placement in the year of the scholarship.
