Eligibility for the Access Scholarship for Students who are Care Leavers from Australian State or Foster Care

• To be eligible for the Access Scholarship for Students who are Care Leavers from Australian State or Foster Care, applicants must be Australian citizens, permanent residents, or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa.
• The scholarship is for students who are commencing a full-time undergraduate degree at Swinburne University in Semester 1, 2025, in any eligible course.
• Applicants must be care leavers from Australian state or foster care and provide evidence of financial hardship and low socio-economic status.

Application Process for the Access Scholarship for Students who are Care Leavers from Australian State or Foster Care

• The Access Scholarship for Students who are Care Leavers from Australian State or Foster Care requires applicants to complete the VTAC Scholarship Application Form through their VTAC user account.
• Students who receive a course offer from Swinburne and submit the form will automatically be considered for the scholarship. 
• Notifications will be sent in March 2025 to successful applicants. Ensure that Swinburne is listed as a preference for the scholarship to be considered.
