The UK and International Scholarships at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh are offered to talented individuals to undertake either MSc Internal Medicine or MSc Critical Care course.
Eligibility Criteria for UK and International Scholarship:
- Students must be self-funding (support from friends and relatives is acceptable).
- Students need to be a resident citizen in a qualifying country.
- Applicants should not have previously studied, worked, or resided in a World Bank high or upper-middle-income country (though applicants who have are welcome to apply for the 50% scholarships)
- Students should have been accepted onto the MSc Internal Medicine or MSc Critical Care. Applicants must have firm status at submission and have paid the University deposit. RCPE will not reimburse scholarship winners the deposit paid to the University for the MSc Internal Medicine.
- Available to new applicants or Y2 & Y3 students already enrolled in MSc Internal Medicine or Critical Care.
Application Process:
Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.
Value of the Scholarship:
- One full scholarship for each MSc course for a student who is a resident citizen of a Sub-Saharan African Scottish Government International Development partner country.
- 75% of the tuition fees will be given each year to students who are resident citizens of any lower middle-income country that the World Bank lists.
- 50% of the tuition fees will be given each year to students who are residents of the UK or any other country not eligible for the 100% or 75% Scholarships.
