Sussex Nigeria Scholarship (Masters) 2025

The University of Sussex Nigeria Scholarship is open to Nigerian students commencing an eligible Master's program at the University of Sussex.

Eligibility for the University of Sussex Nigeria Scholarship:

• The applicants must be from Nigeria.
• The applicants must be self-funded.
• The applicants must be classed as international fee-payers.
• The applicants must have received an offer from the University of Sussex for a full-time Master's course, starting September 2025. 
• The candidate should fulfill the academic requirements set by the university.

Excluded Courses:

• Certificates and Diplomas (including PGCE)
• Courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS)
• Courses at IDS
• Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher status)
• Degrees in Social Work (if receiving an NHS bursary)
• Online courses
• School direct teaching courses
• Masters funded by the research councils (e.g. ESRC 1+3 funding)

Application Process:

The successful candidates are automatically considered for the scholarship upon meeting the eligibility criteria.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a tuition fee reduction of GBP 4,000.
