UC Francis Small Scholarship

The Francis Small Scholarship, offered by the University of Canterbury, supports research master’s students in Engineering at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury. Established by Francis Small in 2015, the scholarship aims to enable students to pursue master’s degrees in Engineering and experience the opportunities that such study creates for them.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants must be intending to enroll full-time in a program for an ME degree with a specialization in Chemical and Process Engineering, Civil Engineering (including Natural Resources Engineering), Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Applicants must be Aotearoa New Zealand citizens or holders of Aotearoa New Zealand residence class visas.

Application Process:

• No separate application is required. Applicants are considered automatically during the admission process for the EMBA.
• The successful recipient will be determined through admissions interviews.
