The Higher Education Scholarship Test (HEST) is the largest scholarship test in India wherein students from top colleges in India compete for winning scholarships for their abroad education. This national-level test is powered by WeMakeScholars, an initiative funded and supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India, under the Digital India Campaign.

HEST 2024, conducted last year, received a tremendous response with over 10,000 applications. Hence, the committee has launched HEST 2024, this year, which will be funding upto 2 Crore, with each scholarship amounting upto 3 lacs. The exact value of each scholarship depends on the quality and quantity of scholarship applications received in that particular season.

HEST Eligibility Criteria:

The applicant should be an Indian national with a valid Indian passport.
Applicants should have a minimum score of 55% in 10th and 12th.
Applicant NEED NOT produce the foreign university admission confirmation at the moment. It can be submitted later while receiving the scholarship cash award.
Those who will be self-funding their total expenses are NOT eligible for this scholarship program, as we believe they are financially stable enough to fund their studies. Our motto is to support the needy and financially weak students.

HEST Benefits:
