Sir Ratanji Dalal Research Scholarship is to support a project in tropical surgery. If the research will not be carried out in a tropical country, the relevance of the project to tropical surgery should be made clear. There is only one scholarship available
Eligibility for the Sir Ratanji Dalal Research Scholarship :
- Sir Ratanji Dalal Research Scholarship is open all medical practitioners.
- Applicants who are registered in any part of the Commonwealth are eligible.
- The fellowship is open to all Fellows/Members of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, registered in any part of the Commonwealth.
- Must be approved by The Royal College of Surgeons of England and The Royal College of Physicians of London who jointly award the scholarship.
- Applicants must be supported by a head of the department where research will be conducted.
- Applicants must include a letter of support from the head of the department in their application form.
