A prize will be awarded to the full-time LLB or LLB(Hons) student who, after Part III, achieves the highest GPA across all law courses. The late Sir Alexander Howat Johnstone, Q.C., who served as the Vice-President and a University of Auckland Council member for many years, left a will that founded the Prize.
Eligibility Criteria for Sir Alexander Johnstone Prize in Law:
- Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in an LLB or LLB(Hons) degree.
- Applicants must have achieved the highest GPA in all Law courses (compulsory and elective) to the end of Part III.
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 7.00.
Application Process:
No separate application is required. All eligible candidates will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
