Eligibility Criteria for Equal Access Scholarship (Postgraduate) at University of York 2026:

Be an international (non-EU) student seeking refuge in the UK.
Be a sanctuary-seeking student already residing in the UK.
Have a conditional or unconditional offer from the University of York for a one-year postgraduate course in 2026/27.
Have applied for asylum before applying to the university.
Not have access to mainstream funding.
Hold one of the following immigration statuses:
- Discretionary/Limited Leave to Remain (DLR/LLR)
- Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR)
- Humanitarian Protection (HP)
- Awaiting decision on an application for refugee status
- Leave as an Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Child (UASC leave)
- Refused asylum seeker with submitted appeal or fresh claim
- Dependent/partner of any of the above

Value of Equal Access Scholarship (Postgraduate) at University of York 2026:

Full tuition fee waiver.
Maintenance award of up to £14,880 to help with living costs.
