The aim of the Roger Oppenheim Memorial Prize is to recognize and reward outstanding achievement in sociological or criminological research at the Master's level.
Eligibility Criteria for Roger Oppenheim Memorial Prize in Sociology and Criminology at University of Auckland 2025:
- The scholarship is available to Master of Arts students.
- Applicants must be majoring/specializing in either Sociology or Criminology.
- Applicants must have completed the most meritorious 120-point sociological thesis by research in the previous academic year in the major/specializations of Sociology or Criminology.
- As a minimum standard, the student must have achieved at least an A- grade.
Value of Roger Oppenheim Memorial Prize in Sociology and Criminology at University of Auckland 2025:
One Prize will be awarded annually and will be of the value of $1,500.
