Robert M. O’dell Endowed Scholarship in Public Administration at California State University 2024

In April 1987, the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO) created the Robert M. O'Dell endowed scholarship fund in Los Angeles' honour. The 17 institutions that offer public administration degree programs receive the scholarships alternately from the northern and southern geographic regions of California.

Eligibility for Robert M. O'Dell Endowed Scholarship in Public Administration at California State University:

• Applicants may come from any nationality.
• Applicants must be enrolled as full-time, upper-division undergraduate, or graduate students in public administration.
• Applicants must be in good standing with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Applicants must remain full-time students in good standing during the academic year in which the award is received. 
• Applicants belonging to the following categories are given first consideration:
  • A public administration major specializing in finance
  • A first-generation college student

Application Process:

• All eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the scholarship.
• The application should include a response to a personal statement.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a scholarship of USD 2,500.
