Eligibility for Moordtij Yorga Scholarship 2023:
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the Moordtij Yorga Scholarship:
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
- Identify as female
- Will be enrolled either full-time (a minimum of 75 credits per semester) or part-time (a minimum of 50 credits per semester)
- Students commencing studies in an undergraduate course in semester 2
- A minimum ATAR of 70 in their WACE, or
- A minimum CWA of 60 if coming through one of Curtin's pathway programs
- Current students (who completed at least one unit of study in any study period in an undergraduate program) must have a minimum CWA of 70
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills or potential
Value of Moordtij Yorga Scholarship 2023:
The Moordtij Yorga Scholarship will provide the following support for the duration of the course (based on a full-time study load of 200 credits per year):
- A cash stipend of AUD 5,000 per semester. The amount can be used at the recipient's discretion to contribute towards educational-related expenses or general living expenses.
