Eligibility for Commonwealth Shared Scholarship at Durham University:
- The candidate should be from an eligible Commonwealth country.
- The applicant should have been enrolled in the University in a full-time postgraduate program.
- The candidate should be enrolled in any of the eligible courses.
- The candidate must have at least an upper second class (2:1) first degree, or a lower second class degree with a suitable postgraduate qualification—typically a master's degree—by August 1, 2024.
- The candidate should have fulfilled all English language requirements by August 1st, 2024, as specified in their academic offer letter from Durham University.
- The applicant shouldn't have spent more than a year studying or working in a developed nation.
- The applicant should be unable to afford to study in the UK without this scholarship.

Value/Benefits of the scholarship:
- Full payment of approved tuition fees
- Airfares to and from the UK (booked in line with CSC policy)

- A stipend of £1,347.00 per month
- Warm clothing allowance of £522.00
- Tuberculosis test fees (where required by the UK)
- For scholars who are widowed, divorced, or a single parent: child allowance of £576.61 per month for the first child, and £143 per month for the second and third child
Application Process:
The candidate must fill out an online application form at the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission website to apply for the scholarship. CSC is in charge of managing the application process; it receives and evaluates applications. Applications have to be submitted online using the CSC application system. Applicants must first apply to one of the nominating organizations; direct applications for these scholarships are not accepted by the CSC:
