- AAI Salzburg Scholarships,is open to nationals of non-European developing countries and be admitted into a university or university of applied sciences in Salzburg or Tyrol.
- Ph.D. students must have approved disposition.
- The age of students applying for master's studies must not be more than 30 years and those applying for Ph.D. studies must not be more than 35 years.
- Mothers applying for master's programs must not be more than 35 years while those who are applying for Ph.D. studies must not be more than 40 years.
- Applicants of AAI Salzburg Scholarships, 2018 should have a 'student' residence permit.
- Candidates who belong to the following categories are ineligible for AAI Salzburg Scholarships,:
- Short term visits and exchange programs
- Studies at private universities
- Applicants with a residence title other than “student”
- Non-degree program students
- postgraduate study programs /other non-degree certificate programs
- Financial need will be taken into consideration.
- Applicants are required to provide proof of good progress in studies and be interested in development related issues.
