Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants can be of any nationality.
- Applicants must be enrolled full-time in the Master's (Law) program at the university.
- Applicants must complete master's studies and be registered for a master's degree with a dissertation.
Criteria for Evaluating Applications:
- The quality of the academic record;
- The quality of the research project;
- The evaluation of the research director;
- Research and writing skills as evidenced by the candidate's scientific publications;
- The ability to meet the proposed schedule;
- The involvement (or investment potential) in the CÉDÉ.
Application Process:
All eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the scholarship and include the following components:
- A letter on the research topic, its interest as well as the work schedule;
- A letter of recommendation from someone other than the dissertation director;
- The final transcript of grades at undergraduate graduation;
- Most recent second cycle transcript;
- Resume;
- The list of funding sources already obtained during the last school year.
Value of the Scholarship:
The successful candidates are awarded a sum of CAD 2,500.
