The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Doctoral Fellowships support high-caliber students engaged in doctoral programs in the social sciences and humanities. This support allows scholars to fully focus on their doctoral studies, seek out the best research mentors in their chosen fields, and contribute to the Canadian research ecosystem during and beyond the tenure of their awards.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students must have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Applicants must have completed no more than 48 months of full-time study in their doctoral program by December 31 of the calendar year of application.
- Students need to be enrolled in a Doctoral course.
- Students should be classified as Canadian nationals.
Application Process:
Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.
