Swinburne Staff and Community Scholarships Fund 2025

Eligibility:

• To be eligible for the Swinburne Staff and Community Scholarships Fund, applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, or Australian permanent residents with a Humanitarian Visa. Applicants must be commencing a first-year Vocational Education (VE) or Undergraduate (HE) course in 2025, enrolled full-time in an eligible course and studying on-campus.
• Applicants must also provide evidence of educational disadvantage, such as financial difficulty, disability, relocation for study, or being the first in their family to attend university.

Application Process:

• Applications for this scholarship will open in August 2024. Applicants will need to submit a personal statement or 2-minute video, provide a current CV detailing community participation and extracurricular activities, and submit a personal reference once shortlisted.

Value/Benefit:

The scholarship offers:

• $5,000 per annum for Vocational Education (VE) students, paid bi-annually.
• $7,500 per annum for Undergraduate (HE) students, paid bi-annually, for up to three years.
