QUT Budding Entrepreneur Scholarship 2024

These scholarships are to support budding student entrepreneurs and engage their passion for entrepreneurial action in the for-profit or for-purpose space.

Eligibility for QUT Budding Entrepreneur Scholarship 2024:

• Students need to be Australian or New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or hold a permanent humanitarian visa.
• Students should be starting university studies for the first time.
• Students must be graduating Year 12 in 2024 or have graduated Year 12 in 2023.
• Students should have placed QUT as their first preference on their QTAC application.
• Students must have received a QTAC offer for a full-time place at QUT.
• Students need to be making a positive difference through entrepreneurial action such as establishing and operating an entrepreneurial venture for profit or purpose.
• Students must be willing to work closely with a QUT Entrepreneurship advisor each semester to progress and review their action planning which will include. participating in relevant entrepreneurial capability and career development programs.
• Students should be prepared to enroll in the four-unit Entrepreneurship minor (if not studying a double degree).
• Students should be prepared to enroll in at least one relevant experiential learning unit where credit can be earned for their entrepreneurial action.

Application Process:

Students need to submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Value of QUT Budding Entrepreneur Scholarship 2024:

The students will receive an AUD 24,000 scholarship (AUD 4,000 per semester) to be paid across three years (regardless of the degree they're studying). This is paid as a stipend after the HECS-HELP census date of each semester.
