ISTA Summer Fellowship 2025

The financial support offered by the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) is aimed at both PhD students and scientific interns. This support includes competitive salaries, social security coverage, and financial assistance for attending scientific conferences and workshops. Additionally, ISTA provides various funding opportunities and awards, including fellowships from different organizations.

Eligibility Criteria of the Fellowship:

• Applicants may come from any nationality.
• Applicants must be enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s program offered at the respective university.
• Applicants must be in good academic standing.
• Applicants enrolled in a PhD program do not qualify.
• Applicants currently enrolled in universities located in Russia do not qualify.
• Applicants must be pursuing their studies in natural sciences, mathematics, computer sciences, physics, chemistry, and any related interdisciplinary areas.

• Contact information of referees (max. two);
• Names of participating ISTA host professors (max. two);
