Jim Sanders Media and Leadership Scholarship at California State University 2024

This scholarship recognises and supports the leaders in journalism, media, and communications of now and tomorrow. The media sector is evolving, and as they are the information gatekeepers, they require risk-takers, clever, creative executives who can laugh at themselves and be willing to question the established quo.

Eligibility for Jim Sanders Media and Leadership Scholarship at California State University :

• Students need to be passionate about communication, media, or journalism.
• Although they can be interested in any industry area, such as engineering, sales, production (audio, video, and sound editing), graphic design, human resources, etc., students must have a career in media as their goal.
• The student must be enrolled during the scholarship term and either be starting their first semester at a California State University campus or be enrolled at this time.
• Students must convey their leadership abilities now or their aspirations to lead in communication, journalism, or the media.
