The Aga Khan Academy Renewable Scholarship is awarded to an academically outstanding international student entering an undergraduate degree program at the University of Victoria directly from an Aga Khan Academy. Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic excellence, community service, and school involvement and leadership. The financial needs of the applicant will also be considered.
Eligibility criteria for the Aga Khan Academy Renewable Scholarship:
- Applicants must be international students on a study permit status.
- Applicants must be admitted to the University of Victoria.
- Applicants must be entering their first undergraduate degree program.
- Applicants must have an excellent academic record ("A" average or a minimum of 32 IB points).
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
- Applicants must meet UVic's academic and English proficiency requirements. See English Language Proficiency requirements.
Value of the Scholarship:
A scholarship of $90,000, payable at $22,500 per year over four years, is awarded to an academically outstanding international student entering an undergraduate degree program at the University of Victoria.
