University of Toronto Hong Kong Scholarships 2024-25

The Hong Kong Scholarships aims to assist low-income families in covering a portion of the cost of a University of Toronto education.

Eligibility criteria for University of Toronto Hong Kong Scholarships:

• Applicants must be Hong Kong nationals enrolled in an undergraduate program at the university.
• Applicants must be in the process of completing the HKDSE, IB, or equivalent. 
• Applicants must possess the necessary prerequisites for their selected course at the University of Toronto; to pass an English proficiency exam, and to plan to start their university education in the upcoming academic year.
• Applicants must return after graduation and not have citizenship, landed immigrant status, permanent residency, or any other claim to residence in Canada.
• Applicants must demonstrate family financial need.
• Applicants must have strong personal initiative and community leadership.
• Applicants must truly be interested in residing in a foreign country and desire to experience a different culture.
• Applicants must be committed to developing a career and community service in Hong Kong.

All eligible candidates must apply online to be considered for the scholarship.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a scholarship ranging from CAD 12,500 to CAD 33,000 per year.
